Aztec God of rain and the sacred fire

Tlaloc was a mayor God in all of mesoamerica, all the agriculture depended on him (and his wife) a benevolent God most of the time, even when he is very sentimental. He dwells in Tlalocan, on of the many Aztec paradises, he commands the Tlaloques, servants dedicated to break the water vassels in with rain water is contained. But it happend that Tlaloc decended to earth and met Xochiquetzal, and fall in love with her, but he was rejected by the love Goddes, in his grieve and depresion he locked himself in his palace forgeting about the rains, the Tlaloques got preocupied, because if this lack of rain continued soon, the world would burn, finnally the Tlaloques convinced him to make rain, "if its rain they want its rain they'll get" Tlaloc still in a bad mood, broke the four water vassels causing water to cover it all. The other Gods found out what was the cause of Tlaloc's sadness and decided to find her a suitable couple, Tezcatlipoca talked to Chalchihuitlique about Tlalocs sadness, Chalchihuitlique being a sweet Goddess acepted Tlaloc, and thus the rain balance was restored.

Tlaloc was also one of the five Suns, the "Fire Rain Sun", fire that falls from the sky is considered sacred as it comes from the upper levels of the universe, actually, mankind was destroyed by a fire rain at the end of that sun's era.

Dios Azteca de la lluvia y el fuego sagrado

Tlaloc era un Dios mayor en toda mesoamerica, toda la agricultura dependía de él (y su esposa) un Dios benevolo la mayor parte del tiempo, aunque sea muy sentimental. Habita en el Tlalocan, uno de tantos paraísos Aztecas, dirige a los Tlaloques, sirvientes dedicados a romper los cantaros que contienen el agua de lluvia. Pero sucedió que Tlaloc decendio a la tierra y conocio a Xochiquetzal y se enamoro de ella, pero fue rechazado por la diosa de la belleza, en su amargura y depresion se encerró en su palacio olvidandose de las lluvias, los tlaloques se preocuparon, porque si la falta de lluvias continuaba así, pronto el mundo arderia en llamas, finalmente los tlaloques convencieron a Tlaloc de hacer llover, “si es lluvia lo que quieren lluvia tendran” Tlaloc aun amargado, rompió los cuatro cantaros sagrados causando que el agua lo cubriera todo. Los demas dioses descubrieron cual era la causa de la tristeza de Tlaloc y decidieron hallarle una pareja adecuada. Tezcatlipoca hablo con Chalchiuitlique acerca de la tristeza de Tlaloc, Chalchiuitlique que era una diosa dulce acepto a Tlaloc y el balance de las lluvias se restauro.

Tlaloc fue tambien uno de los cinco Soles, el “Sol de lluvia de fuego”, el fuego que provenia del cielo era considerado sagrado ya que provenia de los niveles mas altos del universo, de hecho, la humanidad fue destruida por una lluvia de fuego al final de ese Sol.
